简介 The popular breakdance phenomenon in the DDR. Young people spent hours doing exercises, sewing Puma tracksuits by hand and making music. The movement initially drew protests from the police and securi
ty services, which were quick to spot the influence of the decadent capitalist culture of the West. Breakdance was outlawed once it became too big to control.
